About CaRR
CaRR is two things in one: software that runs a car rental business — fleet, bookings, check-in and check-out, invoices and money — and a shared record of how clients treat hired vehicles, kept by the rental businesses themselves.
Why we built it
A rental business in Lusaka has no way of knowing that the person at the desk failed to return a car in Ndola last month. Each company keeps its own notebook, and a client who causes trouble at one simply moves to the next. Meanwhile the paperwork — bookings, inspections, invoices, who still owes what — lives in WhatsApp threads and exercise books.
CaRR puts the daily work in one place, and lets the businesses share what they have learned about rental conduct: hires completed, vehicles returned, damage, money outstanding. Nothing about anybody's bank, loans or credit.
